Primary Skills

• Scrum Mastery:
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
  • Deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other agile frameworks.
• SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework):
  • Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or higher (e.g., SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, SAFe Release Train Engineer).
  • Practical experience in implementing and facilitating SAFe practices.
• Facilitation and Coaching:
  • Excellent facilitation skills for agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • Ability to coach teams and individuals in agile practices and principles.
• Project Management:
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, CodeBeamer)
• Communication and Collaboration:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.

Secondary Skills:

• Technical Knowledge:
  • Basic understanding of software development processes and technologies.
  • Experience working with development teams and understanding technical constraints.
• Problem-Solving:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify and address impediments and risks proactively
• Training and Mentoring:
  • Ability to conduct agile training sessions and workshops.
  • Experience in mentoring junior Scrum Masters and team members.

  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining agile documentation.
  • Experience in generating and analyzing agile metrics and reports

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Scrum Master for multiple agile teams, guiding them in SAFe and agile best practices.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, ensuring they are productive and focused.
• Coach team members, Product Owners, and other stakeholders in agile practices and principles.
• Work closely with Release Train Engineers (RTEs) to ensure alignment and coordination across teams.
• Identify and remove impediments to ensure the team’s progress and productivity.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging teams to experiment and learn.
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and agile leaders to share best practices and improve overall agile maturity.
• Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on agile and SAFe methodologies.
• Generate and analyze agile metrics to track team performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Support the implementation and adoption of SAFe practices across the organization.
• Track and Manage timesheet of team * Submit timesheets for approval to the customer
• Submit timesheets to the operations team for invoicing and follow up with Ops team for the completion of invoicing.
• Initiate renewal discussions by involving stakeholders well in advance before the expiry on project contracts
• Will need to travel to customer locations when required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
• Proven experience in implementing and facilitating SAFe practices.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and technologies.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Preferred: Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or higher
