Job Description: –
- The resource will focus on the development of the testing set-ups, both software and hardware (Targets) on an Embedded Systems projects. The resource will manage designing and developing test scripts and setups to verify high-complexity systems, subsystems and products, according to schedule and in line with quality and testing guidelines.
Key Responsibilities: –
- Take pride in finding bugs in software, and troubleshooting complex problems to find the root cause.
- Review and Analyze Product Requirements, Specifications and come up with Test Plan and Test Cases.
- Discuss with the Development Feature owner and define Test Plan/Cases for the feature.
- Improve testability of systems and PCBs under development taking part to cross-functional team activities.
- Work on functional, performance and embedded testing solutions from IBM, HCL, Vector and other third-party vendors.
Primary Skills: –
- Embedded C and C++
- Able to write the Test Cases.
- Understand Communication Protocols.
- Knowledge on Testing Concepts.
- Windows/Linux OS
- Good understanding of Manual & Automation Testing
- Knowledge of quality standards
- Knowledge and best practices on SDLC and Software Testing Lifecycle
Secondary Skills: –
- Knowledge of any testing tools both Manual and automation
- Knowledge on Perl Script, Python programming
- Knowledge in Microcontrollers, or MCUs and Microprocessors
- Knowledge in Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)
- Certification in Automation Testing is an added advantage
- Debugging Skills
Eligible Criteria: –
- Should have completed BE/B.Tech in ECE, 2020 or 2021 Batch
- The candidate should have work experience of minimum 6 months in embedded testing or should be certified on embedded testing from a recognized institute
*NOTE*: Initial training for the resource will be in Hyderabad.
