DevOps Engineer ( Req. experience: 4 to 5 years)

• MicroGenensis Techsoft Pvt Ltd is looking for a DevOps Engineer with 4 – 5 years’ experience.
• This individual will work for the Enterprise Solutions Group under the DevOps team in developing solutions and supporting clients.

• Develops and maintains mission-critical information extraction, analysis, and management systems.
• Translates loosely defined requirements into solutions.
• Provides direct and responsive support for internal and client needs.
• Participates in architecture and software development activities.
• Uses open-source / propriety technologies and tools to accomplish specific use cases encountered within the project.
• Uses coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve a problem with a custom workflow. 
• Collaborates with others on the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle a complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem. 
• Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including materials, manpower and time necessary
• Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure 
• Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.
• Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
• Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
• Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Process-oriented with great documentation skills
• Knowledge of best practices and IT operations
• Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies 
• BS in Computer Science, IT, BCA, BE or equivalent area of technical study 
• Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Docker, Kubernetes 
• Good understanding with agile software development in Ruby, Java, Perl. Knowledge of Go would be a plus. 
• Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket, GitLab, GitHub, Jira or Jenkins. Knowledge of Gitlab / GitHub mandatory. 
• Significant experience with Windows and Linux operating system environments 
• Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as PowerShell or Python 
• Working knowledge of databases e.g. SQL, PostgreSQL 
• Knowledge of Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform are desirable
• Experience with working on Build tools like Ant, Maven etc 
• Knowledge on any Cloud (AWS, Google, Azure)
