DevOps Engineer. ( Req. experience: 3+ Years)

You will provide hands-on technical and functional inputs to design, maintenance, build, integration, and testing complex software components according to functional and technical design specifications. You will provide input to the Technical Sales Team for estimates, resource needs, milestones, and risks; ensure effective delegation, monitoring tasks, identifying risks, and handling mitigation and escalations. The candidate must be able to work independently and think out-of-the-box. The candidate is expected to work on DevOps Tools including Atlassian Stack integration and administration. The candidate should be able to know where and how to research for information and should enjoy working in a fast-paced, diverse, and customer service-oriented environment.

• Must possess solid English written and verbal communication skills and have an aptitude for thriving in complex situations
• Provide support for the existing DevOps Infrastructure
• Analyze and evaluate new business requirements and define the most efficient & appropriate solutions using Atlassian stack/ 3rd party apps
• Create / update corresponding documentation / user guides. Prepare training materials and train existing team members on the DevOps knowledge
• Review and rationalize existing ALM and DevOps tools
• Follow software development methodologies and release processes
• Excellent problem-solving skills, process implementation skills, and skillful in handling support requests at the same time managing various projects related activities in parallel.
• Perform migrations of platforms/ apps.

• Proficient in Windows & Linux Operating System
• Experience in configuration management (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt) and secrets management such as KMS, Vault
• Fluent in CloudFormation
• Experience in orchestration/containerization platforms (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Fargate, ECS, Docker)
• Proven development and scripting background (e.g. Python, Bash, JavaScript, Java)
• One or more AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, SysOps Administrator)
• Having Linux & Atlassian certifications is a plus
• Experience in Azure, Google and other cloud platforms.
• Minimum 3+ years as a cloud solutions architect or DevOps engineer
• Database exposure & administration experience (MySQL, SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• 3+ years of experience in using/extending REST Services provided by Atlassian tools for various integrations
• Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Server and Data Center administration
• Proficient in SCM tools (e.g. Bitbucket, GitLab, GitHub)
• Good knowledge of any test case management suite/s and integration with DevOps tools is a plus.
